Community Events

Even though we mainly use the avenue of sports to connect with youth, we also understand how important family and the community is for building up the next generation. So we hold several community event fundraisers throughout the year to both support our organization’s programs, and to create a fun and memorable enviornment for students to spend quality time with family and friends.

Family Fun Run 5K

Held every October, both experienced and novice runners dress up in their Halloween costumes to run a 5k or walk 1 mile. Prizes are awarded to race finishers and best costumes. And we even invite our four-legged friends to wear their doggy costumes and enjoy the event with their owners!

Someone Special Dance

February is a time to remember the special people in our lives. Students in kindergarten through 6th grade bring along someone special to dance the night away! Combine that with cookies and raffle baskets, it’ll certainly be a night to remember.

Kalahari Waterpark

Winter in Pittsburgh isn’t always fun, but indoor waterparks, like Kalahari in Sandusky, Ohio, are especially fun in the winter! Through our reserved room block, families can book a night’s stay along with 2-day waterpark passes at a reduced rate.
