J-Mo & D.J. Blenda – Music Review – Jai – Culture Shock

Do you have a daughter who loves listening to Lady Gaga or Kesha?  Do you cringe when you hear them sing about bottles of Jack, sippin bubb, and things so wrong they’re right.  Yikes. We do too!

That’s why J-Mo and D.J Blenda recommend you try Jai’s (pronounced Jay) new album Culture Shock.

What J-Mo likes -

  • Positive lyrics – songs exalting God as awesome, positive outlooks on self-image, and songs about good days can all be found here!
  • Songs you can bob your head too in your car!
  • The upbeat song “Good Day” is the perfect way to start your morning.
  • No crap about bubb, booties, and bottles of jack.

What Blenda likes

  • Danceable grooves, and catchy melodies.
  • Guest appearances by rappers – Lecrae, This’L, KJ-52 and more.
  • The songs “Good Day” and “Incredible” help you with your spelling.
  • Praise heavy beats.

If you have a teen daughter or a fan of Lady Gaga, Kesha, or even Beyonce, introduce them to Jai and they may truly have a positive “Culture Shock”!

A group of 49 of us dined for all-you-can-eat pizza at CiCi’s, and then travelled to Wildwood Highlands snowtubing for the evening – the days before had warmed up some, so the tubing tracks were sooooo fast – it was a lot of fun!!! Check out some of the pics below…

It’s Official Basketball Camp Has Begun!!

It’s here!!!  Skybacher Basketball Camp started today!!  Thirty-nine kids helped to make it official.  Mr. John welcomed everyone, Miss Kristie introduced the counselors starting line up style, and J-Mo shared about the  faith focus for the day, which was LOVE.  We did a few drills, had a crazy relay race to see what it means to really Love, ate some Goldfish for snack, and played a little basketball too!  Great first day!  Don’t forget to show some Love!
