Our 3rd-5th graders saw so much improvement over 6 weeks time!!  We haven’t just enjoyed teaching these kids basketball – it was great seeing them really trying to work on being a good teammate, and putting into practice the words that Coach John challenged them with each week.  Thank you so much to all the families that allowed us the time to invest in their kids – truly was a blessing!  Great job coaches – thank you for all your time and hard work!!

Our K-2 program has been doing great in the first 2 weeks of our basketball program – the kids are working hard on all those fundamentals!!  We had our first try at real games tonight and they went pretty well considering how many kids are brand new to the sport – we are excited for the next 2 weeks for them to continue to put all the things they are learning together…stay tuned…

Hangtime Basketball for 3rd-5th grade just finished its 2nd week and there has already been some great basketball happening!!  We have talked about how to encourage our teammates and are working hard to earn our “salsa points” for good sportsmanship and encouragement throughout the upcoming weeks.  We also had our first night of 5-on-5 basketball games this past Tuesday which went really well – the kids are beginning to learn positions as well as continuing to work on those fundamentals – looking forward to lots more good stuff to report in the coming weeks…
