We had a great March at Pray & Play, we spent part of the month in a series called “Lord teach us to Pray” We broke down just what the Lord’s Prayer means and how we can pray and communicate with God. Also at Pray & Play we had a special 2 are better than 1 night where students brought a teammate and participated in various competitions including Spikeball, Kan Jam, Paper Football, 2 Square, and Corn Hole. It was a great night of fun!
On March 11th we hosted our 12th Annual Slamrock 3-on-3 Basketball Tourney at Freedom Middle School – What a great turnout we had, as 16 elementary and middle school teams battled it out, and 19 jr. and sr. high teams participated. It was an amazing night of basketball and student were read the parable of the lost sheep from Matthew 18:12-14. And reminded that God is pursuing us and no one is too far lost we just need to stop running!
