October 2015 – Falling Into the Fun

We started off October with our annual Dodgeball Pumpkin Blast. We saw a really great turnout for both nights of the dodgeball.  Eight teams battled it out in the Senior Division.  It was the Freshies who would take home the title.  The next night the fun was rampant, and The Nuclear Bombs would turn out the winners.  It was 2 nights of great dodgeball, and good times.  Also in October we held our 2nd Annual Family Fun Run 5K.  We had everything from a hot dog, to zombies, and football players running in the race.  The weather was great!  Adam Hessler would end as the overall winner.  Finally at the end of October we started our after-school basketball program called Hangtime.  We have over 120 students enrolled in the program and we are looking forward to many weeks of basketball fundamentals, and character development.  Don’t forget in November we have Flag Football and the 12th Turkey & Good Stuff Volleyball tournament.
