Skybacher Ministries Inc. has hosted dodgeball, kickball, corn hole, broomball, soccer, basketball, and various other tournaments and sports, but it has never hosted a race. That changed on October 24th when we held our first ever Family Fun Run 5K/1 mile walk.
There were 42 participants, some in costume others just choosing to run in more comfortable clothes. But the costumes made it a true Skybacher event, and the participation of families made it all the more fun. We had zombies, hippies, super heroes, and even a vampire princess. The top overall winner Hunter Black ran the entire race in a Spiderman costume! That’s very impressive!!!
It was truly an incredible night as all 42 people finished the race and celebrated with awards and well deserved fruit and snacks.
