Today we tested the campers LISTENing skills on one of the hottest days of the year! We learned how important it is to be a good listener in school, at home, and with everyone you meet. We also talked about how God listens to us when we pray! Some other activities we did today to beat the heat include:
- Getting soaking wet on the water slide
- Watching Papa G make a cheesy doughnut that included cheese wiz, doritos, icing, and parmesan cheese. Interesting!
- Playing World Cup
- Getting sprayed with the hose after almost every activity
- Eating honey combs for snack
- Large scale soccer games
- Playing telephone to sharpen our LISTENing skills
No matter what the temperature is, Skybacher Ministries loves Good Sports, Good Times, and Good News. Today was a wonderful day for all three!
